The Holly Bush is a private house called Corner Cottage. It is adjacent to the Post Office, off Church Lane. I have been told that the building was an inn but I have not found a reference to the Holly Bush in any county directories or in the petty sessional divisional records

Details are sketchy, but it would appear that there was once a small brewery in Oddington. There is a Brewhouse Cottage in Lower Oddington. It is possible that the Brakspear family – who later brewed at Henley on Thames – first started brewing here before moving to the Thames Valley.
